Hi! My name is December, and yes, I was born in December. I am 32 year old wife, mom to two little ones, and lover of music, books, and crafts. Music was instilled in me from a very young age with piano lessons, and I grew up playing the piano, flute, and singing in choirs. I graduated from Grove City College with a degree in vocal music, and always looked forward to teaching piano and voice lessons during the summer months. My students appreciate that lessons are fun and worthy of their time. You will not walk away from a lesson without new knowledge and skills. My goal is to help you have fun while practicing your skills, and to learn something new and attainable at each lesson. Lessons will be based on your current skill level and will increase in difficulty based on your own rate of learning. I believe that learning should be fun, rewarding, and purposeful. I am very easy going (because lessons should not be scary!) but also want to help hold you to the standard of learning that will help you advance your studies. I expect you to put in the practice and effort to improve, and I promise to work through any obstacle with you.
