My goal is to inspire artistry, confidence, and great self esteem by sharing over 20 years worth of musical experiences and knowledge.   All students will learn to play the piano in a fun and creative way that is beneficial and suitable for their particular learning style.  I aim to make learning this beautiful instrument as easy as possible and the students love it!

Debra has been teaching private lessons for over 15 years and has helped students learn to read, write and perform music in a fun and relaxed environment.
Debra received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Morgan State University with a concentration in Piano. As an expert in her field, Debra looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals by customizing lessons that cater to their specific likes and needs. Debra’s teaching style is creative, fun, and focuses on the musical development of the individual technically and artistically.

Debra is a great teacher, she made my daughter feel comfortable and she is easy to talk to.

Inaya has gained an incredible interest in playing the piano since beginning her classes. She practices on her own now very consistently. Debra is patient with her and that goes such a long way! I am proud of Inaya and highly recommend Debra as a piano instructor.

Debra was patient, fun and very warm. We felt welcomed the moment we met at her studio. Debra creates an environment that truly fosters learning with several brain games and activities for the kids to help them on the instruments.
