Football with DeAngelo A.

De'Angelo "Coach D" Alston was born and raised in Burlington North Carolina and graduated from Cummings High School. He was a starter and standout member of the 1999 state championship basketball team and named A.P. All-State in football the same year. After high school he attended Georgia Military College where he received his A.D. in Business Management and was a member of 2001 NJCAA national championship team. He then continued his education at the University of Georgia in Athens earning his B.D. Coach D is the founder of TGK Athletics a 501(c) non profit and currently the head girls basketball coach at Saco middle school in Saco Maine. He is USA basketball coaching certified and a member of the Positive Coaches Alliance. Coach D's mission is to foster the academic, athletic and social development of student-athletes; to promote honesty and integrity in every area of life; and to help create an environment in which social and economic barriers to academic and professional success are minimized.
