Classical Piano with Dean W.

Currently, I'm a Political Science and Music Major at the University of California, Riverside. I'm heavily involved in the music department and performance fills a major part of my schedule. I perform regularly in private and departmental settings. I've been a pianist since the age of 5. I had great instruction and after a while it paid off. By the time I was entering high school I started to develop a love and appreciation for the instrument. I found it fascinating; It was like having a whole orchestra at your fingertips. I all realized that all the virtuoso pieces were soon within my reach. I discovered that I could be a creator and an artist and make the music, instrument, and performer become one. It isn't all glory- It takes lots of frustration and tedious repetition, but it can be a meaningful part of a balanced life.
