About Dawn S.

(52)
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a Master's Degree in Music Performance. I also performed as a musician with a military band for over 20 years, performing on oboe, English horn, saxophone, percussion, piano/synthesizer, and as a vocalist. I have been teaching privately for close to 30 years and enjoy working one on one with students. I currently perform in the area and teach oboe at three area universities, at a local middle school, and have several private students from elementary age to adults.

My daughter learned additional skills and mastered new pieces while working with Dawn. Her dedication and experience teaching online helped our young oboist to progress quicker, and the school band teacher noticed the improvement too. We're happy we found Dawn on takelessons!
