30 years of teaching experience with ages 16 to 60 in face to face classes as well as online classes.  While my "professional" teaching has been in the computer programming field, my other passion for the past 20 years has been in the art.  Once I began making my own glass beads in 2000, I started experimenting with a variety of beading techniques so that I could create unique jewelry using my beads as the focal points.

I am an artist, teacher and lifelong learner.  I love learning new techniques for my art and working with new art mediums. There are times when my experiments fail.  But that's okay, because it's all part of learning.  Once I've mastered something, I enjoy passing my knowledge on to others.  I love seeing that spark light up when my students discover that they can do something new.  And, when they can walk out of my studio and show their masterpiece to their friends, or give it to a loved one, it makes my day.
