    About Dawn D.

    I am a professional chef and pastry chef. I teach at a multifaceted culinary program in Southern Italy where we adhere to the true cultural ways of the various regions of Italy. I am also an ACF certified pastry chef. I can help you learn the basics in sauces, pastas from scratch and basic dishes that are quick and easy to get to the table. We can work individually or in a group. I work well with children as well as adults. It is a great gift to have children comfortable in the kitchen. I can also do kids' birthday parties and each child can have a blast decorating their own small cakes. I understand that the kitchen is not on a schedule like giving a language lesson, so we are in the kitchen until the job is done with out extra cost for lesson time. The only added cost to you is the cost of the food for the lesson. Along with the various foods, I can concentrate on desserts of all kinds. This includes not only Italian classics desserts, but American desserts as well. I am also a military veteran. I served both in the Marine Corps and The Army Nurse Corps. I maintain my registered nurse license. As an RN and a chef I have a great understanding of healthy cooking... The cost of food is separate from the cost of the lesson.
