My name is David S, and I have been a CG artist and animator for 8 years. Computer graphics is a passion of mine, and I consider it a joy to pass on what I have learned to others. In 2014, I graduated from Huntington University with a B.S. degree in Digital Media Arts - Animation, so I possess a very good understanding of the principles of animation that spans just about every medium. I have also worked on multiple independent projects ranging from shorts to feature films, which has given me a wealth of practical experience.
If you consider yourself a fun and creative person and have an interest in animation or design, then I would love to work with you to develop your skills. Perhaps you're more interested in Hollywood-style special effects, in which case I can teach you many of the secrets of the trade. Regardless, I can provide solid training to get you started in any of these great fields.
Software Taught: Blender, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, The Foundry NUKE, Blackmagic Design Fusion, mocha by Imagineer Systems, Toon Boom Harmony, and 3DEqualizer.
Composited animated scenes and applied effects for children’s series Aiko & Egor. Improved and refined compositing pipeline between Adobe Flash and After Effects.
Used Fusion for digital makeup and integrated special effects makeup to provide a more realistic result.
Primary responsibilities involved keying bluescreen footage, rotoscoping, and integrating 3D-rendered elements. Other responsibilities included UV-unwrapping 3D models.
Created 3D models and environments for Alien Rising. Also performed basic compositing and color correction.
Entry-level certification that demonstrates proficiency with computer hardware and operating systems.
He's a good instructor and he deserves a lot of love
