Piano should be fun! I've taught for 10 years all ages and abilities. We choose songs that student is interested in a. Any genre that he/she is passionate about. I include some exercises and theory based around the songs we are working on. This makes it easier to memorize , read and understand music. It is like reading notes as words rather than a jumble of dots. I love jazz and classical and have toured domestically/internationally with pop acts.

Classical, Jazz, Pop, R&B. Anything you are interested in! I include a variety of activities during the lesson that help keep it engaging and develop a complete understanding of the piece. This includes some light ear training, theory and exercises which can all be tapered to ability and repertoire. I have been performing for 17 years and teaching for 10. I enjoy working with all age groups and have lots of experience with younger students.

David is an AWESOME piano teacher. Our son has been taking lessons with him for the past 5 years . David is patient , gentle and has managed to get our son to be really passionate about playing the piano .  I have to give David full credit for this achievement . We highly recommend David .
