I am a professional drummer who has experience playing live shows, recording, and touring. I have played with Baltimore based band Deaf Scene. I had the opportunity to perform with KT Tunstall in New York City. While attending Berklee College of Music I studied with legendary drummers such as Dave DiCenso who played with Josh Groban. I also had the honor of playing with members of Megadeth when they visited Berklee. I enjoy teaching both beginners and experienced drummers. I adapt my teaching approach to fit the needs of each individual student. I break down drum lessons into 3 primary methods: Listening, watching, and reading drum notation. I encourage my students to play songs that they love because it makes learning fun. If you are a beginner, we will start with the basics such as how to hold the sticks, rudiments, simple drum beats, and learning to read drum notation. We will incrementally work our way up to playing more challenging material. If you are a more experienced drummer we will build on your strengths and take you to the next level.
