    About David B.

As an energetic conductor, performer, and teacher, David Borman III (he/him) understands that music has the unique power to educate, inspire, and change people. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in orchestral conducting at the University of Louisville, where he completed his Bachelors degree in 2019. In December of 2018, Borman led the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under the guidance of Maestro Miguel Harth-Bedoya and in April of 2015, he made his Carnegie Hall debut on Euphonium and Trombone, returning again as a pianist and vocalist in 2018. As a proponent of community engagement, Borman is an active freelance conductor in the Southern Indiana and Louisville area performing with groups such as the Redline Theatre, CenterStage, The Kentuckiana Philharmonic, and Providence Theatre. Currently, he serves as the associate conductor for the Louisville Civic Orchestra, an assistant conductor for the University of Louisville Symphony Orchestra, and an assistant conductor for the Louisville Youth Orchestra.
