I am a professional illustrator, graphic designer and educator. I graduated from University of North Texas, with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communication Design. Painting and drawing students can expect to improve week to week in their technique. Every student has a unique approach and style; I teach students to apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual potential. I teach students from 10 and up at any experience level. Students can expect to learn the fundamentals of painting and drawing, observation skills, intermediate to advance techniques, and digital art among other things. As a professional artist I illustrate for a variety clients including children’s book authors and publishers, advertising and marketing, commissions, and more. I illustrate in a variety of styles. At the same time, I am a full-time elementary art educator. My passion is to share my love of art and hopefully encourage an enthusiasm in a student’s own talent. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better artist!
