    About David B.

    David grew up in Southern California, spending most of his childhood in Westlake Village, a small suburb right outside of Los Angeles. He began his music life in 3rd grade but didn't find the Bass until middle school. At the begining of seventh grade he was ready to begin playing bass for the rest of his life. He attended Moorpark College before transferring to California State University, Northridge in the fall of 2011, majoring in music with a concentration in string performance on double bass. He performed his senior recital this past April and received his BM in May 2014. As of September 2014, David is now performing as a member of the American Youth Symphony. David has performed in the past with the following orchestras: American Youth Symphony,Young Artists Symphony Orchestra, CSUN Symphony(Principal), New West Symphony, Westlake Symphony, Idllywild Festival Orchestra, San Fernando Valley Symphony and the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestras David has been working with the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra as the Strings Coach and Logistics Assistant. Along with classical music David has also been working and recording with various musical styles/genres/groups. He recently just finished recording on the album Strange Behaviors with the band Noble Creatures . Mr. Bowman has built the beginnings of a Bass Studio and has been teaching bass since 2007. Having recently graduated with a Bachelors Degree, he plans to continue on to Masters Degree and will be attending in fall 2016.
