Singing with David A.

Well HELLO!... My path to becoming a voice teacher started with a B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University. It was there I performed with and arranged for an award-winning acappella group called "Vocal Point" for 3 years. After my undergrad, I fell in love with teaching youth. I began my teaching career in Portland, OR at a private therapeutic school, Serendipity Center, where I taught computers, algebra, health, science, yearbook, student council, music and more. During this 7 year span, I was also associated with an organization called PDX Vox - promoting life-long singing in a contemporary acappella environment. I instructed 4-5 choirs a year and arranged over 40 acappella songs. Because of my experience recording the human voice, I've found a way to build in professional level recording experiences with all of my students! I am a father of 3 small boys and I am a HUGE Oregon Ducks fan!
