Dave is an amazing music instructor! He is the perfect combination of patience, musical expertise, passion, and flexibility, which makes him an ideal teacher for people of all ages, skill levels, and goals. My 3 kids are great examples of this statement. Dave taught my stepson drums from beginning on. My firstborn daughter began intermediate acoustic lessons with him, and eventually learned electric guitar. My youngest daughter learned intermediate keyboarding, and beginning drums. All 3 of them thrived under Dave's instruction. He even encouraged and arranged for them to play music publicly, which made for some of their most fantastic experiences. Dave has a way of making his students look forward not only to regular lessons, but practicing in between! His love of music is contagious, and easily rubs off on his students. Dave took an interest in the types of music my kids enjoyed playing, and helped them them grow in the direction they wanted to go. At the same time, he introduced them to other musical styles, and broadened their appreciation of a wide variety of musical genres and eras. Dave helped all 3 of my kids grow in their love of music, and in confidence of themselves over a span of 6 years. His positive influence helped mould them into the delightful, well-rounded teens they are today. We truly couldn't have asked for a better instructor. To recap - Dave Totally Rocks! \m/

My experience with Dave as a teacher/mentor has had a positive effect on my love for music. His extensive knowledge and professional demeanor are signs of an outstanding teacher. He makes learning to play an instrument as painless as possible, we ALL tend to get frustrated. Ha. Whether it's recording music to learning an instrument, he takes the time to give advice and suggestions to help you progress at your own pace. In the simplest of terms, he has a strong passion for what he does and you will most definitely be inspired.

Dave has a way of relating to me as a student. He teaches not just the "how", but also the "why". I'm grateful for him influence on my musical life.
