Acoustic Guitar with Darrin H.

I studied guitar performance at UNM and graduated with a degree in classical guitar performance. During my college Years I played in many musical theater performances with that acloa and Music Theater Southwest performing at the kimo and popjoy hall and taught at Hummingbird music camp. Later I spent 10 years playing Spanish music with the Micky Cruz group all over the Southwest and I am currently working with the Chris Raven band doing classic rock music. I have been teaching steadily for 25 years and always try to gear my lessons towards what will best educate and keep a student interested in playing. I enjoy the variety of working with a wide range of age groups and levels of playing. Whether you want to learn a few specific songs or learn about Theory improv and reading I can help you out with all that. I'm very versatile and have performed and taught every style from classical to Country and Rock. I am working out of Baum's music at 2908 Eubank which is a great environment for learning. There is always lots of music going on over there with great teachers and all instruments, it's a place you can feel safe and free to express yourself. We also rent instruments at the store if you don't have one and would like to try a new one. Hope to hear from you soon!
