I've been acting for 21 years with no end in sight! I am a working Actor and Coach from Detroit based in the Chicago area. I worked and lived in NYC where I studied acting at Marymount Manhattan and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I have also trained privately with top acting/speech coaches like Dennis Hilton-Reid and Thomas Rene. I teach audition technique workshops monthly with The Family Repertory Company where I've worked for the past 6 years as Resident Actor/Director/Instructor. I have performed abroad (Athens, GR), regionally (LA, Detroit, Jersey), and locally (off-off Broadway and off-Broadway). I've worked alongside actors like Norbert Leo Buts & Shaquille O'Neal, and have done (and continue to do) my share of films, plays, commercials, audio series, and music videos. My biggest bragging point (let's be honest, that's what this is. Lol!) Is getting to work with Tony Award winning Broadway Director Kenny Leon at The Public Theaters Joes Pub on HOW BLACK MOTHERS SAY I LOVE YOU. Most recently I worked as a supporting role on the set of the feature film "Mckenzie Mckoy" which premiered this past December and will be available to stream soon. I did 3 short films last year, and spent the month of October in NYC performing with The Family Repertory Company and teaching my yearly Working Actor Masterclass (Coming to L.A. in 2023!). I am directing a virtual Acting Showcase this January featuring my current students, will be performing the lead role in a Black History Month play entitled 'The Realness" in February 2023, and I continue to audition regularly.
