Hello there! My name is Daria and I am a music teacher with over 15 years of experience giving high-quality, individualized instruction in Flute, Piano, Clarinet, and Voice to all ages and all levels. Want to learn a Beethoven Sonata? The theme from The Force Awakens? The latest radio hit? Sign up here! About me: I have held principal flute positions with two major orchestras in Asia and have performed with the St. Louis Symphony and Seattle Symphony, among many others. I have extensive academic experience with music theory and history and hold a Bachelor's in Music from the Eastman School of Music, a Master's from McGill University in Montreal, and a Doctorate in Musical Arts (ABD) from the University of Washington. In addition, I am also available for music theory, history, and sight-singing tuition. Please message me for more details. Personable and fun, I bring energy and fun to my lessons and work hard to help my students achieve their goals. When I'm not teaching or playing, you can probably find me on the trail in the mountains of Southern California, curled up with a sci-fi novel, visiting my cat friends at the local cat cafe, or streaming a Mets game on my phone.
