Hi I’m Danny! I’m a professional guitarist, songwriter and producer offering guitar lessons and vocal coaching. 17 years guitar experience // Season 8 contestant on The Voice // B.A. degree in Popular Music Studies at William Paterson University ‘15 // Major label production credits (Mariah Carey, French Montana, Steven A. Clark, etc.) I started teaching guitar when I was a freshman in high school. A friend of mine that I met in choir asked if I could start giving him lessons and that's when it all started! I've played in rock bands, acoustic acts, jazz bands, etc., since I was 8 years old. I'm 25 now. My students have ranged from 7 to 38 years old. I think a great music teacher is someone that makes music fun. Someone with an easygoing personality that is patient. You can learn music theory and different styles of music, but there should always be time to have fun with it. Practicing is important for improvement, but it should never feel like a chore. My teacher made sure of that when he taught me and I make an effort to do the same.
