Danilo is an excellent teacher of violin, music theory and ear training. He is a first rate musician with a passion for teaching and a rare ability to explain fundamental and complex topics to students of all ages. Children and Adults leave his lessons inspired and eager to practice more, and they tend to make faster progress than other students I've accompanied. I'm particularly impressed by the way he integrates history, science and poetry into his lessons to give students a broader perspective on the music they're studying.

Danilo is an incredible musician and the way he teaches his knowledge to me is incredible. He understands the physicality of violin playing and has endless methods to correct bad habits. He seems to have a very thorough knowledge of the instrument, technique and the music itself. Working with him has been a blessing and I am very surprised how much I can play now. Danilo won't stop nagging me until I fixed my bow hold, and now with proper technique I feel much freer to use the right hand expressively. IMO he is the guy to go to, especially if one's interest is in earlier repertoire.

Danilo is an extraordinary musician and pedagogue. Far greater than a mere technician, his refined ear, extensive knowledge of musical style, and pedagogical methods enable his students to perform at a very high level. In the two years I've known him and hired him for various engagements, I've seen him consistently and efficiently unlock potential in students that they didn't even know they had. Even after just the first lesson/coaching, students have expressed how much they learned and how inspired they were. I offer my highest recommendation to any violin student of any level.
