I offer Acting training with three different types of focuses: - Acting Lessons: If you are interested in the craft of acting and want to become a better artist I create a weekly/monthly lesson plan which will serve your unique needs. Lessons will be based around your experience level, your interests, and your end goal as a performer. - Audition Coaching: Monologue/Scene/Side coaching for anything from a Community Theater audition to a callback for Chicago Fire. We will attack your audition material analytically, psychophysically, and psychologically. - Industry Coaching: What does an agent do? How do I get noticed by a Casting Director? How can I get to perform in a Motion Picture? What type am I? The focus of my Acting Industry Coaching is to expose the actors to all the industry tools and info that can make them successful. Explaining Unions, how a headshot can get you through the door, and how to figure out type, are what I focus on in these lessons.

This was my first ever acting class and Dan has done a great job! He’s really made me understand how to put myself in the moment with repetition exercises. Very laid back and easy to work with but also professional. Would recommend to anyone looking to become a better actor.

Daniil worked with me on preparing multiple callback sides, both classical and contemporary. He is the kind of coach that has the specificity and honesty to push you beyond what you thought you were capable of, and to open your eyes to a new way of seeing your work. Daniil was able to connect my early experience with Meisner training to the sides that I had in front of me, in a way that was challenging but not scary. I left the session with a new handful of tools to prepare for the upcoming callbacks, and a new perspective on what it meant to reach honesty and authenticity as an actor.

Dan is an incredible instructor. His keen eye and ability to coach is a true gift. Dan works in specificity, detail and nuance; I am always a better actor having worked with him. Dan is knowledgeable about the business and offers great advice on agents, managers, type and casting. I highly recommend Dan as an acting coach and a business coach.
