Hip Hop Dance with Danielle I.

I have been an ASL Teacher for 7 years, I have experience working at a private school where I taught a one to one correspondence for three years. Most of those students had mental health diagnoses: anxiety, trauma (PTSD), dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and or memory loss. I also have experience working at a public school, where I worked for 3 years. I had an average of 20-40 students in the classroom. I worked with a diversity of students' with various backgrounds especially deaf students who didn’t know sign language. I am currently working at a community college since last spring. I have been a performer on stage for 23 years. I have been an actor and motivational speaker. To name a few, I have been in the films: “Switched at Birth” (as an extra), Pattern of Habit (music video), “On The Floor” by JLO, “The Igor Djenge Skit Show” in American Sign Language ( ASL ), and in the Bay Area, “International Deaf Dance Festival 2019”. Trivia: I was miss Deaf CSUN pageant 2009-2011! I am still traveling and performing as a dancer and actor. I have also been a dancer for 23 years and teaching dance for 9 years. I am able to dance and teach- hip hop, salsa, jazz, modern, and Ballet Folklórico de México (Mexican Ballet Folklorico). I will help you to become an excellent dancer! And, Also have fun! Finally, I have knowledge of very basic algebra in math. I am able to tutor you to improve your math skills. Also, I am able to help deaf students that are able to communicate their thoughts with me because I know sign language. I am looking forward to meet you!
