I have 25+ years of professional acting experience in televison, theater and film. I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where I received a B.A. in Theater and English. I also attended the prestigious National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. I am a working actress, acting coach and entrepreneur. I love working one-on-one with students using tools and exercises that I have "collected" over the years. I incorporate these tools along with improvisation, relaxation techniques and long-standing rehearsal exercises all designed to encourage spontaneous, authentic and natural behavior. The tools I use make sense, are easy and fun whether they be used in the rehearsal room, on set or in preparation for an audition. I have studied Meisner, The “Method” and more classical approaches to the work yet it was my time spent studying with the late actress/writer/director, E. Katherine Kerr as well as Seth Barrish, founder and co-artistic director of NYC's The Barrow Group, that provided many AHA! moments for me as an actress. It was through their unique and easily relatable approaches to the work that I was able to allow myself to "be" rather than "act". I have coached actors and corporate professional and entrepreneurs in groups and one-on-one. I have taught at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) as well as given workshops and master classes. My credits include: Television: Person of Interest; The Sopranos; Ugly Betty; Prison Break; All My Children; One Life to Live; Another World, Guiding Light Film: The Brave One; Tadpole. Theater: One Hand Theater, The Summer Fringe, The Barrow Group, Second Stage, Playwrights Horizons, The Lark, H.E.R.E., Studio Arena Theater and has performed live at Town Hall, NYC with Garrison Keillor on NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion and can be heard on APHC’s A Pretty Good Joke Tape along with Alison Janney, Paula Poundstone and Roy Blount Jr. I am a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. I lived in Manhattan for over 20 years and am now back in Fairfield County, CT after 4 years in Los Angeles. I currently provide one-on-one coaching online from my studio. I work with a wide age range, assorted skill levels and am also available for audition coaching.

Danielle is amazing and helped me make some big changes in 4-weeks. If you are willing to put in the work and take direct feedback you should definitely book sessions with her!

Danielle is top notch. She brings so much experience, training, and talent to the table, finding new ways to help get to the root of the conversation. She helped me realize new potential by looking for ways to find my true, authentic voice. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Danielle is a fantastic actor and coach! I've had the pleasure of sharing a stage with her and working with her as my acting coach for many years. Her approach to material helps to simplify the (seemingly) most complicated scenes. Her focus on naturalistic acting and "in the moment" spontaneity is exactly what every actor--at any level--needs to make their work real and full of life.
