I have the best job in the world--playing my tuba with a great band and getting to educate students with our educational shows throughout the day when we go on tour. In the evenings, we have the amazing opportunity to entertain wide varieties of audiences with energetic music!

Midland Symphony Orchestra

I performed one concert in place of the principal tubist (my teacher at the time) of the Midland Symphony Orchestra (Midland, MI). On this concert, we performed "Festive Overture" by Dmitri Shostakovich and "Symphonic Dances" by Sergei Rachmaninoff

Chippewa Marching Band

I led the section and demonstrated proper marching technique and performance (and memorization) of music for each halftime show. Each week we would learn a brand new show, which was very challenging and demanding work!
