Hello! My name is Daniel Skib, and I am a professional horn player based in the Los Angeles area. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music degree in music education, and from the University of Southern California with a Master of Music Degree in French horn performance. I currently freelance in and around Los Angeles, including regular performances with the Santa Barbara Symphony and the Long Beach Symphony. My passion for teaching matched with my passion for performance has shaped me into an effective and driven private teacher. I know that no two students are alike, and I look forward to getting to know you better to design a lesson program that is right for you!

Daniel Skib is such a down to earth guy and his approach to horn playing reflects that poise and calmness that he possess. Working with him has really opened my eyes and ears to what it means to play horn with other musicians. His range is something else as well...!
