As a senior year music student at Florida International University, I have studied under acclaimed clarinetists, including the principal clarinetist of the Miami City Ballet, Orchestra Miami, the Florida Philharmonic, and the Florida Grand Opera. My performances at FIU include world premieres with the FIU wind ensemble, performances with world-renowned pianist, Stephen Hough, as well as frequent performances with the FIU wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, and symphony band. Outside of the university, I have performed a number of musical theater productions including the Addams Family Musical, Shrek the Musical, and Singing in the Rain. My clarinet lessons are student-centered and focus on reinforcing the fundamentals in ways that are applicable to performing popular clarinet repertoire, as well as music that the student wants to play.
