    Daniel K. is available for in-studio (NYC and Long Island Locations), and online lessons! Daniel made his professional singing debut at 10 years old and his professional operatic debut at 19, and has been teaching privately for the last 13 years. Daniel has won many singing competitions, and has appeared on stage on 4 continents (so far) in concerts, opera, musical theater, rock, world music and new music. Daniel teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate to advanced as well as artists that are out there working. Many student who have started with Daniel in High School have gone on to attend of some of the most prestigious schools in the country including The Julliard School, Indiana School of Music, Carnegie Mellon, New England Conservatory, Manhattan School of Music and Peabody. They also have done very well, many attending All-State, All-Eastern, All-National Choruses, and placing in singing competitions. Daniel is trained in standard singing teaching methods, however he has developed his own method of teaching to help his students rapidly achieve an elite level of singing. His goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician. He has made constant education and growth one of the priorities and continues to study privately and work with some of the worlds finest teachers and coaches. In additions to Daniel’s teaching and singing careers, is the director of a music festival which produces several shows annually, in that time he has heard literally thousands of auditions. He brings this experience with him when teaching to help his students be as competitive as possible. Daniel received a Bachelors in Music Performance from Carnegie Mellon University, a Masters in Vocal Performance from University of Southern California and attended the Universita per Straineri di Perugia, Italy and Die Neue Schule, Berlin. He has won or been a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Los Angeles District, The Liederkranz Competitions, Violetta Du Pont Competition, Vienna Kammeroper International Competition, Los Angeles County Artist of the Future and the National Association of the Teachers of Singing Young Artist Competition in Los Angeles and Pittsburgh. Lessons are scheduled to best fit to the student'€™s schedule when possible. Daniel is a very patient instructor and understands that students learn at a different pace, after all everyone is an individual!
