About Daniel I.
I've been teaching for over 20 years. In that time I've had students of all ages, abilities and personalities. From the casual student to the aspiring professional, I tailor my approach and focus on meeting the unique needs and goals of the student rather than applying a contrived method or curriculum.
I've had a thorough conservatory training at The Eastman School of Music and Interlochen Arts Academy where I studied composition, music history, theory, counterpoint, orchestration as well as piano, voice, and more.
My professional experience is extensive. I've been doing commercial scoring for 18 years, I have experience with modern recording and engineering techniques and I play many instruments. Drawing on my solid conservatory training as well as years of experience as a composer, performer and teacher allows me to meet the demands of any student.

My 9 year old son has been taking lessons with Daniel for the past 3 years. During this time we have seen a lot of growth in our son's musical abilities. We really appreciate Daniel's patience and flexibility within his lesson plan. Our son had learned theory, music history and practiced ear training all within his lessons. Recently our son was writing a "score" for one of his home made movies. Daniel was able to give him "real world" advice and incorporate that into his lesson. We are thrilled to have been referred to Daniel and look foreword to having our 4 year old start lessons next year.

Daniel is great with my twin boys as he teaches one piano and the other drums, with equal flair!! He has patience, is punctual and has these annual recitals that are wonderful.

Daniel is an awesome instructor. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about music and knows how to teach and convey that enthusiasm about music to his students. I thoroughly enjoy my weekly harmonic lessons with him.
I'm also very happy with how my daughter is advancing in her piano lessons wit h Daniel. Right after we switched over to Daniel for her piano lessons I noticed a huge improvement in her musical abilities.

Daniel has been teaching my daughter for 5 years. Besides being a very skillful teacher with great technique, he is passionate about teaching music. He is very knowledgeable about music history and keeps my daughter interested in learning.
