My music is highly eloquent and lyrical. If you are looking for base level pop music, I will not be much use. But, if you are looking to write songs which paint vivid stories, inspire deep emotions, and musically intrigue, then I promise you I can assist. The genres I teach are Folk, Country, Singer-Songwriter, and Pop.
I've been songwriting for years now. I write daily, and sometimes more than that. I also perform a few exercises to ensure my lyrical skills are at their peak. I've done small songwriting jobs for producers (Writing Lyrics for them and recording a demo) and was also offered a single song publishing (songwriting) contract for Century Music Group.

About Daniel H.

I have been writing for years now. An arts school, with music classes specializing in songwriting and music theory, has led me to a professional level in the songwriting industry. I have been contracted to write multiple songs for producers, as well as a publishing (songwriting) contract with Century Music Group. I gig locally around the Charlotte area, and am known for my lyricism.
My classes are specialized for Folk, Singer-Songwriter, or Pop, and will be highly focused around lyricism, as well as some necessary music theory. Some songwriters I take inspiration from, and am able to teach the style of, are Hozier, Dermot Kennedy, Bon Iver, Passenger, and Ed Sheeran, though how you write and who's style you intend to adopt or take inspiration from is up to you. Different aspects of songwriting may be requested (Metaphors, Music Theory, Instrumentation, Chord Structuring, etc) if you would like me to hone in on them.
Basic knowledge of a songwriting instrument (Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Mandolin, etc.) is recommended, though if you are just interested in lyrics, I am able to accommodate, and will teach Guitar or Ukulele to basic degree if requested. Classes will teach how to begin a song, lyrical technique, basic music theory, exercises for songwriting, and how to enhance emotion within a song.

You will write a song in your first lesson!
