My name is Danny, and I’m excited to meet you. I've been teaching private lessons since 2011. I love helping my students write persuasively, think critically, read efficiently, find their personal voice, and achieve their college admissions dreams.

I went to Dartmouth and earned a B.A. in Film and Media Studies and Philosophy in 2011. I received a Certificate in Writing for Dramatic Media from the Graduate College at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2014. I also received a J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in 2014, and I'm admitted to the State Bars of Nevada and California. Aside from being a lawyer, I continue to tutor students privately because I love to teach others and spread my passion for education, learning, and language.

I'm a creative and outgoing person, and my teaching style is relaxed, engaging, and catered to your preferences. I look forward to helping you make your goals a reality!

Daniel was very helpful in developing an outline for a book that I'm writing, and provided excellent suggestions for character and plot development. I would recommend him as a teacher!

I needed help with the SAT. Gave this site a try. I raised my score a huge amount, and I became much more comfortable taking the test! No more hyperventilating during the test lol My tutor Danny helped me with all the sections. Thank you.

Danny is very helpful with LSAT prep, especially in the Reading Comprehension and essay-writing sections. He reviewed numerous practice problems with me, and is very good about making sure I fully understand the questions and concepts. I would recommend him for LSAT tutoring, especially for someone struggling with the Essay and Reading Comprehension.

Helped me a lot. Danny helped me find my weaknesses and strengths. Had to write several different essays for different applications. Resumes and where to apply. I needed help with grammar, style, themes. I was struggling a bit on my own. I recommend him for college admissions, or anything really. :)

Had a few lessons. It was good. Had to give a speech. Danny helped me edit it/come up with some new ideas/add some humor. I'd say he's def as good as teachers I've had in school

Danny tutored me for college admissions process and applications. He helped me pick which schools to apply to, which would be my safety and my dream schools. Got into a dream school!!! And every safety ;) Couldn't have done it without the amazing essays he edited and guided me on. That was probably the hardest part for me, and I needed someone who could help me figure out how to tell my own story. Applying to colleges is complicated and crazy as you know! It helped me to have a tutor. Even though it was online it was good and convenient. He's great to work with. Didn't feel intimidated, had fun. I'd recommend him to whoever needs help with college admissions and essay writing!

I'm a junior in college. I've taken two screenwriting classes. After those classes, I continued to write, but wanted the feedback I used to get from the class workshops. Danny helped me with everything. Formatting, grammar errors, typos, story, characters. Helped me find my voice and what was strong in the script. His feedback was definitely helpful. I needed a new set of eyes on my work, and I could get his help when I needed it for however long. He's experienced, knows his stuff, and fun to work with. Great sense of humor. Highly recommended!

I was a bit overwhelmed by the college admissions process. Over my junior and senior years of high school, Danny helped me figure out what I needed to do to make the best possible application for myself to apply to colleges, including several Top 20 Universities. I read admissions books, countless articles, blog posts, and forums on line, talked to friends, my parents, but I still felt unsure and didn't want to gamble with my chances of going to an amazing college. Having someone who has gone through the process, and helped others, really made a difference. I have no doubt my essays would have been boring and not tailored to each specific school, and that my resume would not have been as professional or present my accomplishments so well. I got into an amazing school despite the insanely low acceptance rates. I really think Danny was a big part of that.
