Probably the worst experience i've had on this website. We arranged to do lessons for about a month or so. One lesson his setup crashes so we can't continue the lessons even though i had set time aside for it. I understood and asked we move it to the following week. Apparently there was miscommunication so we had different dates for when we thought the next lesson would be. He still wanted to charge me anyhow for no lesson completed and ask that i communicate this with TakeLessons if i have a problem. He also suggested that i ask for a refund for all the remaining lessons. Daniel has shown that 1) He does not know how to manage his relationships with his students. 2) He doesn't test his setup prior to lessons to make sure he can teach via the web 3) He's extremely rude and thinks he's above the client. Its interesting that TakeLessons allows non-registered users to write reviews about teachers here. Seems that my review is the only one that is related to his experience specifically on the TakeLessons platform. I highly recommend that you do not take lessons with Daniel. This was a nightmare situation and i want to prevent anyone else from making that same mistake.

I taught Daniel at the Art Institute and I have to say he is one of the most thoughtful and engaging students I've had in my classes. His dedication to tutoring greatly benefited the audio department as a whole and elevated the work of the entire student body. I knew when my students would go see Daniel for tutoring because they would come back to class with a better understanding of the subject matter and bring interesting new ideas to the class discussions. Highly recommended!!
