Hello! My name is Daniel and I have been playing and teaching guitar and bass (electric and upright) in all styles for over 20 years. I even have a Masters Degree and a Bachelors in music to show for it. My students have the benefit of highly customized lessons based on their interests and goals. As a teacher, I have been delighted to see my students find success and joy in music as a number of my students have won awards through school and extracurricular groups. Some have even gone on to get music degrees!

Dan is an excellent teacher--in all respects. First, he models the outcomes that he looks for. Second, he works patiently to break down the needed components so that he is able to realize the results that he would like. Third, he provides a motivational climate so that the student works for the outcome most important to his or her learning. I've thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with him and would welcome the opportunity to work with him again in the future.

My son has been taking lessons with Mr. Brown for 2 years. We started off in-home but switched to online at the onset of the pandemic. Mr. Brown is always friendly fun and professional. My son started bass in school but did not enjoy the classroom lessons. My son has some learning and focus challenges. Mr. Brown is very patient, encouraging, and kind with him and he works hard to keep my son engaged. My son made significant strides. I highly recommend Mr. Brown as an instructor.

My 14 year old son has been taking lessons with Daniel for about a year now and is very pleased with Daniel's teaching style and skill. Daniel is well prepared for each lesson and challenges my son with new techniques and material. We plan to stay with him!
