Hey! My name is Daniel A. and I'd love to teach you how to play! I've been teaching lessons for nearly four years now and have enjoyed helping people learn how to play their first chords, read music, and play more advanced classical pieces. I recently finished earning a B.A. in Music at Centenary College of Louisiana, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. I'm a dedicated, punctual, and creative teacher and my teaching style is thorough, paced according to your learning style, and effective. I can't wait to help you express yourself musically!
I frequently contract myself out to assisted living facilities and nursing homes, performing jazz standards, classical repertoire, and original arrangements.
I teach a handful of promising students through the Noel Community Arts Program, both in guitar and in ukulele.
As an accompanist at Shreve City Baptist Church, I was responsible for collaborating with a team of musicians. Each week I was challenged to improvise, read and sight-transpose, and create original arrangements of hymns.
