Acoustic Guitar with Dane G.

I began playing piano and guitar when I was 5 and started teaching about a decade later. Music and education have been my life ever since. I received a master's degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania, writing a thesis on culturally-responsive music education, and going on to teach music and Spanish at a public high school in Philadelphia for five years. After leaving the classroom, I went on the road as the guitarist in a pop band touring the USA and Europe for two years before settling down in Baltimore and joining a non-profit as a music technology educator. I love working with students of all backgrounds and levels and am excited to teach guitar, piano, mandolin, and also Spanish.
