I start with something funny.  Then I teach the basics like the alphabet and numbers.  The next lesson would be vocabulary words like all the lessons.  Lots of repeating and going over vocabulary words.  Then down the line I would teach them phrases.

Dana helped us through ASL and was patient. She is a very nice and understanding person for what we needed. I would recommend her to anyone including teaching small children to Sign.
