Hi. My name is Dana B. I have a passion for teaching students how to read music, understand basic theory and even choose some of your own music without feeling the frustrating pressure that is often associated with music lessons. I teach a foundation of piano method, technique and theory, using classics with a good mix of fun and contemporary music thrown in! I also teach voice and performance. I was formally trained in piano for over 10 years by a teacher from the National Guild of Piano Teachers and I have been playing for more than 30 years. I have extensive professional and volunteer experience teaching children/youth of all ages. Time slots are available both after school hours and during the school day for home-schoolers. I would love to share my knowledge and enthusiasm about music with you and your child!
