I love teaching guitar, been at it for a decade now giving lessons to many a satisfied student! Lessons cater to the individual's musical preferences. We can cover music theory, rhythm, ear training, proper technique, songwriting/composition, and most importantly whatever songs or styles you want to focus on. I studied guitar for 7 years through private instruction from a great teacher who not only taught me guitar and music theory, but taught me to teach it. I eventually began instructing alongside him at the music store where I learned, accumulating over 30 students, ranging in age from 10 - 70 (never too late to start!). I think what I love most about teaching is reliving the excitement of learning all over again with my students. Music is a rewarding venture, well worth the trip! Dan is a uniquely awesome dude that is super well rounded and smart musician . From my experience it seems as though he could teach almost any genre and a player at any level and his lessons are very fun. He leads a very interesting life and has a lot of strange hobbies like storm chasing !

Our son has been taking guitar lessons from Dan for a couple of years and we are so pleased! Dan is very qualified, professional, punctual, patient, and thorough.

Dan has been my guitar teacher ever since I was a little kid. Granted there was a period where I didn't take lessons from him for 6 years or so but when I wanted to start them back up he was very willing to do so!.  His knowledge on guitar is incredible and I wouldn't recommend anyone else!. If you want to learn to play guitar and learn about music in general, Dan is your man!.

Dan has been working with my teenage son for about a year and half.     We shopped around a few teachers and my son really liked the approach Dan provides over other instructors.    Dan is very patient and keeps the lessons very upbeat and fun and seems to provide good flexibility for the variety of techniques my son wants to learn.    He definitely has some mad guitar skills.    I highly recommend Dan for anyone wanting to learn guitar or become more proficient at guitar.   He rocks! in more ways than one!
