Trumpet with Cyrus M.

I am a professional trumpet player of many styles and my experience in music has taken me across the world. I currently play in multiple small jazz groups, and big bands, and run two of my own groups that play styles such as Jazz, Pop, Funk, R&B, and Soul. Due to my musical knowledge, courage, and versatility, I have been invited to play overseas and at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, and the many venues occupied by Jazz at Lincoln Center. I teach students of all ages and skill levels. I wish for you to learn musical versatility and the ability to catch on to music quickly, the things that many don’t teach. Through my years of playing I have gained knowledge and advice from the biggest names in the music industry about many topics covering the actual playing of the instrument to playing in a band and obtaining gigs. Not only will we learn about music, but also powerful life lessons and great qualities we should develop not just as musicians, but human beings.
