Hello!  My name is Cynthia Gannon.  I am a classically trained pianist and have been teaching piano for ten years.  I love working with all ages and experience levels from beginner to advanced, and always ensure a fun and relaxed learning environment!

My approach to teaching is simple: learning how to play an instrument shouldn’t have to be stressful at all.  I understand that everybody has different goals they want to reach and that’s totally okay!  Not everyone needs to be a classical pianist and go to Juliard unless they absolutely want to.  Playing piano should be all about enjoying yourself and having a good time!  

So whether you want to learn a difficult Beethoven Sonata, play themes from your favorite movies or video games, or simply hammer down the basics, all of it is possible with dedication and practice!

I am a classically trained pianist and have been teaching for ten years!  I have experience performing in formal settings, including recitals, competitions, and private events.  In addition to teaching, I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the Southern Poly Technical College of Engineering at Kennesaw State University.  When I am not teaching piano or studying for my classes, I enjoy other hobbies such as hiking, rock climbing, and simply enjoying the great outdoors!

Cynthia is very nice and patient. Since my daughter is young, I was looking for a teacher that would be patient with her and make the experience comfortable for her. My daughter has been taking lessons since October and still going strong!
