I received my Bachelors of Music from The Curtis Institute of Music and my Masters in Music & Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. I recently completed my Doctorate degree at Columbia University, in the Music & Teaching of Music in Higher Education degree program. I am on the Faculty of Applied Piano at Columbia University as well as Instructor of Chamber Music there. I am also on the piano faculty at the Bard College Conservatory, Preparatory Division. I am a New York State Certificated music teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I was on the piano and chamber music faculty at the Luzerne Music Center for eight years.

Cynthia was a great teacher. She helped a lot with my technique and timing while continuing to encourage me to express the music. She was patient and really helped me polish pieces I was working on to bring them to the next level
