East Valley School of Music

I teach clarinet, flute, and saxophone lessons to students ranging from ages 5 to 15. Students have won places in regional honor bands and youth symphonies in Arizona as well as performed solos with their band.

Arizona State University

I teach a handful of the undergraduate clarinet majors at Arizona State University. I also teach graduate students who are learning clarinet as their secondary instrument. In addition, I taught the clarinet portion of the Woodwind Methods class for music majors.

Conway Community School of Music

I taught clarinet to students ranging from ages 10 to 15. Many students were able to place in all-region and all-state competitions.

The International Clarinet Association is a community of clarinetists and clarinet enthusiasts that supports projects that will benefit clarinet performance; provides opportunities for the exchange of ideas, materials, and information among its members; fosters the composition, publication, recording, and distribution of music for the clarinet; encourages the research and manufacture of a more definitive clarinet; avoids commercialism in any form while encouraging communication and cooperation among clarinetists and the music industry; and encourages and promotes the performance and teaching of a wide variety of repertoire for the clarinet.

The College Music Society promotes music teaching and learning, musical creativity and expression, research and dialogue, and diversity and interdisciplinary interaction. A consortium of college, conservatory, university, and independent musicians and scholars interested in all disciplines of music, the Society provides leadership and serves as an agent of change by addressing concerns facing music in higher education.

Founded in 1907, NAfME is among the world’s largest arts education organizations. NAfME advocates at the local, state, and national levels; provides resources for teachers, parents, and administrators; hosts professional development events; and offers a variety of opportunities for students and teachers.
