☆ A little about me ☆ I was born in Washington D.C and raised in Maryland. Our family was raised musically, as my mother was a well-known local jazz musician. She inspired us all to be musicians and we began to write and collaborate on songs. We moved to Los Angeles in 1982 in pursuit of professional recording careers. In 1989, I branched off as a solo recording artist. I have experience performing at restaurants, weddings, small venues, as well as on local TV. Aside from my musical career, I’ve created a beautiful family that consists of my wonderful husband, three sweet children, and two precious dogs. ☆ Lesson Details ☆ Welcome! Due to COVID, I only offer online sessions via ZOOM. If a student is unable to access Zoom, we can discuss other alternatives. In the first session, I will get to know the student, find out their goals as singers, and plan out a repertoire for them to learn. In the following lessons, we will start with vocal warmups, stretches, and breathing exercises. Then, we will run through the pieces, and I will provide feedback.
