Hi there! Congratulations on taking a step towards improving your academic future by searching for a tutor.

I love helping students reach their full potential, and I do that by creating a program that will work specifically for you. Working together, we will not only improve your comfort and knowledge in your subject area, but I can also help ease test anxiety with research based study skills. I am a CA credentialed teacher with first hand knowledge of and practice with, various methods of learning - so we will find what works best for your success!

I earned my BA in Psychology at University of Maryland, College Park, and earned my MAT in Secondary Education at Towson University, in Baltimore, MD. I have experience as a high school classroom teacher and have also worked with students from grades 4 and up in multiple subject areas, with much success.
I am friendly and very patient. I will set reasonable and clear expectations for you, which if followed, will lead to improvement in your independent learning. I look forward to meeting you.

Surfing · In studio

Cristina is an incredible surf instructor. She's down to earth and motivational. I feel much more confident surfing and catching waves. When I started out I couldn't catch a wave on my own and with her guidance after four lessons I'm catching waves regularly. I have so much fun learning about paddling and pop up techniques both on and off the water. She also has such a wealth of knowledge about the ocean that I can already start to read the waves much better and get an idea of which ones I can catch. I'm excited to continue taking lessons with Cristina!
