Hi, there! My name is Cristina, and I graduated from UC Davis in 2014 with Highest Honors and a BA in English, double emphasis in Creative Writing and Literature, Criticism, and Theory, and a Minor in Art History. I'm a tutor who is always looking for creative ways to help students learn. I cater to the specific needs of each individual and work to create a broader context for the subject they are learning in order to make each student feel like what they are learning is exciting and important. As an undergraduate, I won several awards for my fiction, including two first place prizes for university contests and the award for Best Creative Honors Thesis for my collection of short stories. As a tutor, I use my experience as a student in creative writing workshops and as a writer to help students hone their writing skills, find their voice, and reach their potential in creative writing assignments and essays.
