Hey there, My name is Cristian Guerrero and I’m an actor, writer, producer, and teaching artist. I teach and provide lessons in Acting (Film/TV), Musical Theatre, and Screenplay/Playwriting lessons for all ages and skill levels. I specialize in Monologue coaching & acting technique, audition and callback preparation (Film/TV & Theatre), and mentoring high school seniors for their college auditions if they are pursuing an Acting or Musical Theatre Degree. I started as a child actor. Favorite credits acting credits of mine include movies for The Disney Channel, Lifetime, and episodes on shows on ABC, NBC, and Fox! Favorite LA theatre credits include Spring Awakening, Twelfth Night, Anna in the Tropics, and The Last Five Years. I’ve grown up all my life immersed onstage, on camera, behind the scenes and writing the pages of scripts that have come to life. All of those experiences have one thing in common-- my fascination with collaboration and coaching passionate artists. I hope to foster raw, honest, authentic talent with dreams to be onstage or in front of the camera, writers who have stories that need to be told, and creators that have dreams of making something incredible. My coaching provides the client a safe and non-judgemental space to try and explore without the pressure of putting on a performance or auditioning at an affordable price. Training, lessons, coaching, and consultations are necessary to keep honing our craft. Each student is unique-- let’s bring that uniqueness out for every opportunity coming your way. Current and previous clients and students of mine reside all over the world including my hometown Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, London, Texas, and more have booked roles in films, commercials, professional theatre and have won awards and accolades for their performances. High School Acting students I have coached that aspired to study Acting/Musical Theater at the collegiate level have been accepted into Universities such as Chapman University, New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Boston Conservatory. At the end of the day, my goal is to empower you to go out and create amazing things worth seeing. Let’s find your direction. Let’s get to work. I hold a BFA in Theatre/Film Acting from Chapman University. As a playwright, my original musical won Top Outstanding New Work in the Country from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in 2016. I have taught Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Acting at studios such as Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts, Theatre 360, The Acting Studio, Young Actors Camp, Valencia Teen Theatre and many others. I am the Founder of my own production company Mr Cristian Guerrero Productions and still actively produce, write and perform onstage and on camera. I can't wait to work with you.
