I am a 34 year old teacher. I have a B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am currently finishing my teaching credential in the next couple of weeks. I have taught at an after school science program for underprivileged children as well as done tutoring throughout my undergraduate program. I taught swim lessons for ages 6 months- adults for two years including with the Autism Speaks program. I was a Dive Control Specialist with a Scuba shop in San Diego for several years and enjoyed it very much. I love to teach and watch people learn.

Crissy is so helpful with biology. She takes her time on the first lesson to learn how you learn. I found her very helpful and she made learning biology easy and fun for me.

Lauren said that Crissy moved the subject matter along a little too fast for her so she became a little intimidated. I know there is a short amount of tutoring time and that may have been the problem. My only request is to really make sure Lauren is grasping the material

Crissy is just amazing! She exactly knows what the student needs, she prepares the lesson plan and follows up with the student! Extremely good. We are so glad to have found her. She is very flexible and very patient.

I was a teacher at an after school hands on science program. I set a lesson plan and had hands on labs for students. They had two dissections, worked with marine plants and live animals, learned about the tides and what causes them and also learned about different factors that affect buoyancy.
