I can get students up and running by starting out with the following:
1) Learning how to tune the guitar. 2) Learning the notes of the strings. 3) Learning chords using the CAGED system (based on minor and major chords). 4) Learning scales and patterns. 5) Learning how to play songs, both harmony and melody.

Hi.  I have over 45 years of playing experience.  I have performed in Bluegrass bands, and a Rock, Pop, and Soul ensemble at Cuyamaca College.  I play left-handed, so mirroring is easy.  Both lefties and righties are welcome.  I have the knowledge and ability to help beginning and intermediate students realize their potential.  I enjoy and play all different kinds of music.
