I have 6 years of one-on-one guitar lesson experience and have been playing guitar for over 24 years. I am patient, encouraging, and tailor each lesson to the individual. Never a "cookie-cutter" lesson!

In my time teaching guitar, I have worked with students ranging from 8 years old to over 60! All ages are welcome! Learning guitar can and should be super exciting. Join me on this adventure!

I am a seasoned vet when it comes to playing and teaching guitar. I have over 24 years playing and 5 years (professionally) teaching. I am able to work with a beginner from day one and get them up and playing songs in no time.

Encouragement and positive reinforcement is key when learning to play guitar. You will never hear a discouraging word out of my mouth and we will work together to continue moving forward.

A little about me personally: I have been married for 14 years now. My wife Leah and I have 3 children, Caleb, Claire, and Caitlin. I am in Manhattan, KS. My musical passion and style ranges from country and folk to hard rock and blues. If it's on the guitar, I can play it and I can teach it.

Easy to get along with and a comfortable studio.  He has the knowledge to help with multiple genres. Highly recommended.

Craig is a great teacher. I began playing guitar in middle school because I wanted to join the youth worship band. Along the way Craig mentored me and grew my passion for guitar. Without a doubt if you want to really gain a passion for this instrument Craig is the best teacher for you.

Craig and I used to play in and a band together and he was nothing short of inspirational where his creativity for the instrument is concerned. He taught me a lot of what I know and would never let me take "shortcuts" just to get through a song. I'm honored to have been taught by him.

If you want to learn to play the guitar, you'll need to find a really good teacher and spend a lot of time practicing.  I highly recommend Craig because he is incredibly patient, makes playing the guitar fun, and is excellent with all ages.  Craig makes learning to play the guitar easy! A great at teaching rhythm guitar! And when you are ready to dive into more lead guitar songs he is great at breaking it down into small learnable chunks. And if it is a song he's never heard before he can get it down and be able to teach it to you note for note. Highly recommend!

Craig is an outstanding teacher and a genuinely great person to be around. He is one of the most positive people I have had the pleasure to know and helped me tremendously when I got my first guitar at the age of 18. He is patient and truly dedicates himself to anyone who is willing to learn or try something new. You won't find a better quality/value teacher within 1000 miles guaranteed.
