Craig Hanna, has taught professionally since 2000, and has made his passion for music and teaching a career. He was taught by some of the best instructors in the GreenBay Area at a young age and has continued to study an array of musical styles.
When he is not behind the drums teaching , he provides studio session work along with performing in his current band Annex who has shared the stage with bands such as: Goo Goo Dolls , Jet and Buckcherry among others.
Craig tailors lessons to the needs and goals of the individual student. Material covered includes: technique, independence, reading, rudiment application, song learning, along with learning different musical styles. the goal is that each student develops a strong vocabulary and command on the instrument every time they play.

I came to Craig as an adult, with little to no musical training and was hesitant to take lessons because I had no idea what expect. In the time I have worked with him I have learned to sight read, play along to songs , have a strong grasp on the fundamentals and work on improvisation. He continually challenges me to try new things and expand my vocabulary. As an instructor Craig is professional, non judgmental, patient and is an experienced teacher. A lot of people can play drums, being able to teach others is an entirely different skill.

Craig has been working with our son for over 5 years. He is an exceptional instructor. Our son had no previous drum lessons prior to working with Craig. Our son really enjoys his lessons with Craig and has really excelled. We would highly recommend Craig

Our daughter has been taking lessons with Craig for a little over a year. We’ve heard a great deal of progress from her since she started. My daughter's feedback: Craig takes the time to correct small details and write out the counts. He won’t rush through lessons and keeps things fun. He adapts to the students interests. e.g. took the time to create specific lessons for cowbell and drum brushes. Overall we couldn’t be happier with Craig and we highly recommend him.

Craig listens to the needs/wants of the student to make music interesting and still teach the technical aspects of playing drum kit. He is a dedicated and flexible teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist students with a variety of skills.
