After seven years in school learning from some of the best voice, speech, and acting teachers in the industry, I can offer my students valuable tools to further their skill level as actors and performers. I will soon receive my Masters in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts where I have learned such techniques as Link Later, Roy Hart, Edith Skinner's Speech with Distinction, Lessac, Butoh, Suzuki Training, as well as many other styles to enrich my own personal craft. My lessons, depending on the area of need (voice, speech, acting), will focus on those areas most needed by the student. This need or needs will be determined after first getting to know the student more deeply. As an example, a student is in need of cleaner diction would be drilled with a multitude of exercises made for increasing specificity and agility in the articulators (Lips, tongue, etc). Acting lessons would be more traditional. We would work mostly with the ideas created by Stanislavski because that is the strongest base from which any actor can grow.
